Hi,

I suffer with anxiety mostly health anxiety, at the moment I have a lot of pelvic pain that radiates down to the tops of legs, I'm in panic mode thinking the worst (ovarian cancer) can anyone else relate to this?

Thank you

i had the exact same problem last year!! everyday i was miserable because i thought i had cancer,i went to the doctors and did an ultrasound and there was nothing wrong! she told me it was something but it wasnt serious and it will go away (i forgot what she told me). dont stress about it too much ,it might be muscle pain etc. have you been doing exercise ?

Thank you for your reply. I have just joined the gym and I've done one spinning class (cycling) the other day, do you think it could be from that? The pain feels so deep and too real to believe it's just anxiety it's driving me insane 😞 I went to the drs today and she examined me said all was well and it's most likely my anxiety.

yep!then its defs from the spinning class because you were using your legs then and that has an effect on your pelvic. remember that if youre more anxious about it it will feel as though the pain is worse !!so dont worry about it !!it will go away .hope this helps Xx

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me and actually making me feel better! I just noticed I felt really anxious and my pain was bad, now that I have calmed down it's almost unnoticeable. The only thing is I'm sure I was having this pain a week or 2. Before the gym so could literally just be my anxiety ? Xx

yep, if you were calmed down and the pain is barely there its definitely anxiety, because if it were to be serious then the pain is constant and you would be literally sick! but pain generally does come from time to time and it does go away and especially if you have anxiety then it makes it 1000x worse than it already is because of the countless things that could happen. im glad that you're feeling better and also try and keep yourself occupied because it will get your mind off of it Xx
