What does your anxiety and panic attack feel like for you?

Tight chest, racing heart beat, sweating. When I have to do a presentation all the symptoms mentioned previously plus my legs now tremble (that's never happened to me before), shaky voice and I cannot seem to relax the muscles around my mouth.

Although this is not a physical anxiety symptom, when I'm in social situations that I don't feel comfortable in, I begin to "shut down" I go all quiet and as much as I would like to contribute to the conversation, I cannot speak :( it's almost like my mind tells me to be quiet and nothing comes out, no natural thoughts in regards to the setting, no ways to reciprocate just anxious thoughts like "why can't I talk" it's very frustrating and I get angry at myself.

What about for you?

my anxiety goes full circle all day...starts with insomnia...waking up at 4 am..feeling anxious..cant eat..very anxious for about 4 hours..feeling tired now...anxious because I am tired..can not breath right...can not concentrate..try to act "normal" at work..mind always racing...this hurts..that hurts..heart disease..cancer..by the time I get home from work I am exhausted from worry..at this time I find I have better appetite (still very tired but I accept being tired at dinner time..weird, huh?)..spend a lot of time after dinner on here, it seems to be the only thing I can concentrate on.night time ritual..either bath with epsom salts or foot soak(calms me) cup of nighty night tea and off to bed..I usually fall asleep ok, but Always wake up 4ish all panicky unable to fall back asleep..

Wow man sound very similar to me smh. I fall asleep around 2 wake up at 4 then fall asleep around 6 then wake up 8 then sleep til 930 then wake up fall asleep then wake up at 11am smh each time I wake up chest feels tight and just anxious and wide awake smh feels like I wasn't even sleeping. First thing I do when I wke up is go on anxiety sites and just depressed that this is what is going on right now for me.
