There's really no other cause imo. I'm as guilty as anyone. I blame coffee, lack of sleep, drinking with the fellas, my job but in truth it's none of those things. They can be factors but until I'm calm for months at a time I'm going to be sensitized and prone to these bad days. Our nerves are on edge and anything can trigger them. Wish all of you peace. I had a bad morning but I'm feeling good now.

Healthy nerves which haven't been battered constantly by stress and worry are like a tuning fork at rest. They don't vibrate but if they do, they soon settle down. A person who suffers from anxiety has nerves like a constantly vibrating tuning fork because they don't give it (their nerves) the rest they need to settle down because the sufferer keeps worrying and stressing about their anxiety. They fall into a cycle where the vibrations become self perpetuating (fear produces adrenalin which produces a fearful reaction which produces more fear)
I thought the cause of my anxiety was my health, my job, my family. It was none of these, it was just my anxiety making me think and feel that way. This is why sufferers must carry on living their life, regardless of how they feel and not hiding away. Otherwise they become prisoners in their own minds and homes because they let those fears build up and dictate their lives. Fear is just an unpleasant feeling and false. Totally false. Face and accept these feelings while carrying on with your day will eventually lead to recovery because you will begin to realise it is just one great big bluff.
Anxiety reminds me about the joke about a person who went to A&E because they were in terrible pain. No matter what part of their body they touched, they felt agony. Upon examination, the doc told the person they had broken their finger! 😂
Haha nice joke at the end. Great post in general. Yep we nervous people get caught in the loop for sure. First thing I did when the anxiety hit this morning. "I'm not drinking coffee anymore, shouldn't went out Saturday, gonna go home and lay down." Nope. I'm gonna carry on as planned. I had a rough morning with some panic oh well. Worst things have happened. When you get a muscle cramp you gotta walk on it until it lessens. You don't just lay their crying saying you'll never run again cuz it may cramp.
