Hi cassiegraves, What a beautiful picture of you and your daughter. How happy you both look. There is nothing like living in the world of a child's innocence and dreams but I know needing some adult interaction can be important as well. One day, invite some women over for a casual invite. Give them a time say 10 til noon or 1-3 in the afternoon. This will help in not feeling trapped in your own home wondering when they might leave. Serve coffee, tea or hot chocolate with a little dish of cookies or sweet rolls. Stay off the world topics of the day and talk more about life, family, children. Keep it light. Maybe the next time, they will invite you over to their place. That couple of hours is such a respite for the stay at home mother. When the kids are home, get into a art project of some sort, something that will give all of you a sense of satisfaction to show daddy that you guys were creative. Either of those things help break up the day and stimulates the mind and may make you feel less anxious. I hope some of these ideas help. As for today, movie and hot chocolate sound good to me. Take care, cassie..
thank you ive only just moved so i dont really know many people and the people i knew they have chaged and doesnt want to be round me as i have 3 kids nd they only have 1 thats at school so they do whatever they wanna do. so yeah im going to get some paint and art stuff at the weekend and start doing more creative stuff. i stress so easliy though... thank you for some ideas x
I would love to have had children. You are so Blessed. 😙 I hope you are all well.
To meet adult company check out playgroups or sometimes library's have story time or rhyme time..my wife met most her friends through toddlers group, then had Wednesday nights in each other's house without kids....not be long till they are all at school, time flys
