Hi Tanae, Where are you that you are suppose to be having a good time?

Hi, I was visiting My Dad and his Wife. They're heading South for the Winter and I went to see them before they left.

Tanae, the reason I asked where you were is because I believe if you were sitting quietly at home relaxing, you wouldn't be experiencing anxiety. The muscles being tight in your neck can very well be causing the pressure feeling in your head. Also make sure you are hydrating (very important) Last but not least, try deep breathing and relaxation imagining the pressure coming down, slowly down in your head. Use the imagery of getting on an elevator on the 10th floor. The doors close and the elevator slowly descends to the 9thfloor. With each floor that you slowly pass, you feel the pressure in your head going down. You feel yourself getting calmer, your shoulders start relaxing. As you look at the numbers above the door of the elevator, you can feel peace and calm coming over you. Deep breathe while the number of the floor change, until you finally get to the 1st floor. The doors open and you step out feeling my better than when you first got into the elevator. Using different tools to reduce your stress will help you reduce your symptoms as well. Hope you start feeling better.

Thank You so much for that. I have been having neck and back pain lately. Also, I feel really tense in my shoulders. I was thinking it was the way I sleep but now I'm convinced it's from anxiety.

Try and drink an ice cold glass of water, lay down and put on a movie or something to help you calm down a bit even if it's just talking to someone who puts you in a better mood

Tanae, try nature's tranquilliser: slowly take a deep breathe from the pit ofyour stomach, hold it for 4 seconds then breathe slowly out, hold for one second and then repeat half a dozen times but slowly. The answer to anxiety is found in the books and teachings of Claire Weekes available from Amazon like 'Self help with your nerves', if you haven't already read it then do as it will stop your sufferings as it has for hundreds of thousands over the past 50 years.
