I extremely happy ypu told your mom. Self mutilation is a way for your mind to cope. It needs to be taken seriously. Don't try to understand it right now, please talk to a therapist. It will help. I am an ex cutter. Put a stop to it now. I cut for years and did self harmed in other ways for years...DON'T do this to yourself. I regret it everyday of my life...and I wish I had gotten help much sooner. Please get help. I am so sorry you are going through this. Take my advice please. Learn from me. 😟
