So here i am awake again at 4am. With back ache and generally feelin like crap. My mind doin overtime. I just need 2 clear my head and try and relax but the last few days im findin it really hard.

Hi Mouley, looking back at your posts, it looks like sleep is not your friend. You seem to never make it through a whole night. Maybe time to check on your sleep habits, what you do before turning in for the night. Do you go to bed too early, is the room cool and dark, do you turn off all electronic items that means no cells in bed with you. What you eat or drink several hours before bedtime makes a difference as well. Now if it all boils down to anxiety causing a racing mind, body pain and general malaise then you address that before bed. Having a lot on our minds in this day and age is common. Don't use bedtime as a time to go over the day's events and problems. This is your body and mind's time to totally relax. Once you have gone to bed practice doing some meditation and deep breathing before falling asleep. (better than a pill) Should you wake up mid way through the night, repeat again. It may take time to establish this routine since your mind is use to waking up in the middle of the night. Try avoiding caffeine and/or liquor before bedtime. Take care of your back pain before going to bed with either an OTC med or heating pad. Waking up at 4am is common with anxiety because that is the time when the cortisol is at it's highest in the body. It's a matter of pushing your problems aside and going back to sleep. Once you get up and walk around it's going to be harder to fall back to sleep. I'm hoping you don't read this until tomorrow morning, it will mean you are sleeping right now. zzzzzz

Welli dont drink beer or anythin like that room is always cool. Wot type of food should i eat.
