Really sore back

Help

My back has been killing me for months now. Can't help but think i have cancer......please can someone help me. Feel like ending all this pain and suffering.

Hi Michael83, I'm sorry the back pain continues. Looking back at your posts, it looks like 6 months now. What did the doctors do or say regarding your back. On a scale of 1 - 10, what number is your pain. Annoying or unbearable?

Have your doctors suggested any physical therapy? I think I read you had a CT scan several months ago? What did that show. The reason I'm asking is maybe you need to see someone other than a GP. There are many doctors who specialize just in back pain as well as pain specialists which wouldn't involve taking pain killers. (harsh on the stomach)

Another thing Michael, if it is chronic back pain you may need to find some relief over the counter. I have Fibromyalgia, a chronic muscular tension pain disorder. I use 12 hour heat wraps by Therma Care. They sell them for back or neck. It does relieve the pain. Plain (w/o aspirin) pain cream relievers provides instant relief and in the past I have used a tens unit. It's run by batteries but provides little pinchy shocks to break the pain carrier between the brain and the affected area. Depending what is causing it there should be something that can give you some relief. My best Michael...

Its a wierd feeling, sometimes in the bottom of back and other times at the top, my sides sometimes hurts aswell, feels like my body is shutting down.

Michael I don't know what else to tell you except I'm sorry you are in so much pain. You really need to know what you are dealing with before you can address it. I hope you get some answers from your doctor. Take care.
