Hello everyone,

I am new here and would like to make a small good impression as i see that most of you are posting but not getting any response, even admin bexley1 made a post about this. So i will try and contribute to help as much as possible.

My story is that i've used to have a really hard anxiety and now recently it got back but not much however i got it under control and hopefully i have faith it will eventually leave me alone :)

Some of anxiety symptoms are :

- Burning sensation in the chest

- Trouble breathing

- Fear of vomiting

- Something stuck in your throat

- Lightheaded

- Dizziness

- Nausea

- Barely feeling any appetite

- Fear of sleeping

- Panic attacks

- Fast heart beats

- Fear of having heart attacks

- Sore arms, legs

These all are symptoms of Anxiety and there is even more, post below if you want to make sure your symptoms are also Anxiety, im sure i will be able to help or anyone else would surely help :)

So if you are feeling any of these i have some tips that could help and i will share them below..

1) If you are about to have panic attack, do not think about it... Think about anything else that would get all of your focus such as calculating hard numbers using no calculator, it will help.. Or anything else u feel comfortable with. Try also closing your eyes and taking a deep breath or listen to good music until you are calmed down. Make sure to know this is all just in ur brain.

2) Get Chamomile Tea and drink it, you can drink up to 3-4 times a day ( not good for people who suffers acid reflux because it could be bad for this disease )

Chamomile Tea has a calming effect since it releases the neurotransmitter called GABA in the brain and this is responsible for calming ur body down, you can check it up on google for more information about it, i've heard a lot of people made progress with this Tea

3) Anxiety is something inside of you, that no one else can see or help you fight it.. So you are gonna have to fight it by yourself and fight yourself actually since it is you personally causing the panic attacks, control your mind... Do not let it control you and cause u to have panic attacks and fear of death or any other kind of fear. If you have fear of vomiting just think about it, im sure you have vomited before and what could be wrong if it happened again..? like it will end in 5 mins maximum and then u would feel better actually so think this way it won't happen but thinking this way would make u realize u are scared of something really not worth being scared of

4) Try to stay away from problems, stress causing situation or depression. Go out with your loved ones and try to stay with friends who u laugh a lot with and have fun with not problem makers.

So far this is all i could think of and share with you all, if i have anything else i will update this post with new information below this message and call it '' update 1, 2 etc... ''

Update 1 : Why do we feel anxiety mostly at night not in the morning as most of u would find this familiar, here is the answer :

l have lots of those symptoms and some different one too . My legs ache and burn and leg muscles twitch. My muscles are horribly tense and I just can't relax them. That's causing more pain in my groin and low back. My hands tingle. . I drink chamomile and have Epsom salt baths, nothing relaxd me though. I can,t concentrate to read etc.

There is an mp3 audio I used which I downloaded on my phone and listened to it with earphones when panic was terrible even when in a shop. A site called "excel at life" (also on app stores but you can get them directly from the site) they have lots to listen to but the 'panic assistance' and 'tolerating anxiety' audios i found absolutely fantastic. Please do give it a try as I too found reading or concentrating difficult during worst highest level of anxiety or panic. There are 7 audios I've got on my phone, and use them daily even when I'm washing up to practise calming myself :)

Why don't you try to do something you love, maybe an activity? hobby.. play video games it gets my mind off things, or go swimming its good for ur health, exercise also it is fun.

i have nearly all off these and glad you said as im scared to sleep incase something is wrong and i dont wake up. My muscles feel weak when i stand up etc

I have really bad anxiety, and its generalized anxiety, I'm eating way less than I'm supposed to, I used to eat way more but now I'm scared that it might make me sick and to the point where I feel like I'm going to throw up, I get anxiety whenever I leave the house, and now sometimes I get anxiety just being at my house as well. I don't know what to do, I'm only 15 , I need to eat more otherwise it scares me that I might get an eating disorder 😭

I feel like I'm just gonna end up dying or something, I'm already really skinny, and I already have anxiety to the point where I can hardly leave my house, I'm eating so less, I need to eat more, but I'm afraid that when I eat I'm going to throw up, or get sick which is why I'm not eating , but then the next thought is that what if I get an eating disorder, ugh, I'm so scared, and worried. I don't know what to do, someone please give some advice

Start off by eating small meals so u can get ur daily vitamins and protein, something you love probably? chicken or something like that.. I know you might not feel hungry but once u put that one small piece in ur mouth and taste something good you will eat it all eventually.. Try this

You are afraid of throwing up, same here i always get a panic attack everytime i think i will vomit but you can not stop eating because that will be another really physical problem you will start facing, over come your fear, you won't vomit if u eat, or else everyone who eats will vomit..

Vomiting doesn't occur always, it mostly occus whenever you are sick in the stomach when ur stomach muscles decide to contract and let everything inside out, eating small meals won't do u any bad at all just try eating few small meals every 2-3 hours, you will be fine..

Also there is this website it gives u some assistance, i saw some other member here suggested it, it is not my idea but he said it helps you should check it out whenever you are going through a panic attack

This tottaly accurate. I feel really scared I'm only 16 but yea its been me fearing having heart attacks or something or heart problems and also vomiting and fear sleeping. I'm really scared I just want it to leave me alone. I don't want to stress my mom. But thank so much that relates to what I feel

Keep yourself busy, go out do something that won't make u think of that and eventually in time it will go away. You just need to give it time and not worry..
