Well, I'll say this for you! :) You certainly are a very creative, descriptive writer! May I please suggest that you ask to see a therapist/counselor?? I feel strongly this would help.... In some ways I believe you are 'hiding' behind some of your words and what your real feelings are need to come out.

We all have bad days and they pass (not long enough maybe! :) ) but I believe you need to talk with a professional. You sound very young...am I right? Good luck!

Maybe you need to try real hard to have a little faith in your Dr that they are trying tohelp you and ask for treatment. Spend some time adjusting your system to meds then go for therapy. Maybe once your anxiety symptoms are being managed by meds you can deal with the root of the problem with talking to a therapist. Talking can help but you can't hold things back or pretend that things aren't there or happening. It has to be open and honest.

Talking does work as everyone on here has alsorts of different anxieties and yet you can easily go through posts and see how much even talking on here helps. If it didn't then sites like this wouldn't exist. Can you put your hand on your heart and say you have truly given everything to therapy? If you can that's brilliant you were able to and that particular type of therapy wasn't for you. There are other types available. Even councilling can help deal with demons lurking that are setting it off that you didn't know about.

Your Dr isn't trying to use you as a guinea pig, as you will see on here there is no one size fits all for treatment. Some medications work well for some people and not others so you are prescribed a different one to try to see if that is more suitable for you

How long did you try each medication for? Maybe you are sensitiveand need to keep going to find one that is right for you even tho it is wearing and gives you dread to try yet another new one you have to push through this.

The only way a Dr will give up on trying to treat you is if you refuse treatment over and over. If you have given up on yourself and won't accept help or treatment their hands are tied and they can't help you.

How do YOU want help for this in a perfect world? Money, des opinions or attitudes, distance to anywhere, no barriers at all how would you like to get better with this?

I'm older as well. I've been through all the treatments and therapies known for anxiety issues. I see the hopelessness

in the doctors as well as being made fun of behind my back. I've had talking therapy until I'm blue in the face.

So what do we do? We take over. I can't do any worse than all the therapists and meds have been for me.

I will not give up. I review everything that I've ever read or research about anxiety. I got myself off the meds that made me feel drugged out. Now, I'm clearer headed and can start working towards feeling better, conquering this

demon this anxiety bully. I will beat it and then I will go on to help others, a pass it forward sort of thing. No one should have to live this way and feel like half a person.

Take care smjtty.

What's happening specifically. We are all different, remember that. I have suffered from this for many, many years. So what I am able to do might not be on the agenda for you right now. You certainly need help with the way you are feeling. I do understand. I am however very concerned about you. Do you have any ideas of where you want to go next. You cannot give up. I am glad you are reaching out to the forum, but that is not enough at times. Is there anything we can do to help you besides supporting you? I care....
