It's a long battle out after someone with anxiety has been ill because the illness has dragged you down and you HAVE had other things wrong than anxiety us trying to make you think is wrong. You will get there, the mind is a very powerful and sometimes warped thing with what it can do. I never believed this until I began to suffer with anxiety. I couldn't believe how all the things I perceived to be dangerous, scary or totally blown out of proportion could be anxiety but it truly is. If you were still running a temp last week then your body won't have recovered yet from the viruses. You need water, healthy food and lots of rest so you can recover. While you are rundown your anxiety will do what it can to get at you as you don't have the strength to fight with it. I've noticed this myself this weekend. Had a cold and cough all week it's reached its peak the last couple days and 3 meltdowns in 24 hours I've had x

Vik, chances are your doctor is not 'missing something' that could be wrong with you. Anxiety can do just about ANYTHING in the way that a person feels physically... so, hopefully you are not spending a lot of time concentrating with fear on 'what could be wrong'.... I've been there, done that... so just sharing my own experience. If this IS what is troubling you the most... please go back to your dr and tell him EXACTLY how you feel, that you are scared and that you need his reassurance... Hopefully he/she is one who is willing to actually sit down and TALK with you. Wishing you all the best.
yes I do I keep thinking the doctors are missing something and there is something really wrong with me then I start to feel ok then it starts again feeling light headed then palpatations wanting to cry I don't think its anxiety because I don't get short of breath or gasping for air like people are saying also I can go out but I think people are staring at me and no one likes me x I am same as you I just want to feel better xx hope you feel better soon
