Steraline 25mg

What's your experience of this medication I have took my first half tablet today I was giving 50mg. I have took citalopram 20mg years ago and I had Terribe side effects

Hi. What med are you on? I'm currently on Zoloft and started at 25 mg and worked my way up now to 150 mg for anxiety. I had some side effects however nothing major. I'd notice a slight increase in anxiety a few hours after taking the medication however it goes away after my body is use to the dosage. It has helped me a lot. My doctor also gave me clonazapam for night time to help with the increase of anxiety from the meds. I'm hoping to be off those soon. Best of luck!

It's sertraline 50mg but starting on 25mg do you think I should just start at 50mg? I don't want to feel major side effects but can already feel my heart racing bit and only 1st day!

Hi again. I am on the same medication as you as it is the generic to Zoloft. I'd follow whatever the doctor recommended. I really did well going in increments (25, 50, 75, 100 and now 150). I hope it works for you. Hang in there. You'll notice the heart racing will go away eventually.

Hello. So mines is a generic? Does that not .make it a lot worse for you? I'm worrying already and yes my heart is racing this morning and I've only took 1 tablet my second one today I might take around 5pm ish to try sleep some side effects off?? I booked an appointment to see a doctor tomorrow which I'm nervous about...but so glad I am on annual leave from work all this week. I just hope I don't have any nasty side effects when I go back to work I have this problem and paranoia that everyone is judging me or can tell how I'm feeling...x
