Oh god yes. All 5he time. Shaky and very dizzy often when the anxiety is strong. Like now. I struggle with the mornings and at the moment I am trembling on my bed because I feel light headed. It is hell.

Hi, I too have terrible morning anxiety. I see the light of day and look at the clock and immediately start to tremble and cry. It's as if there is an internal anxiety switch inside me that gets turned on. As I shake and cry, I pick up my laundry basket, straighten up the house and save the heavier housecleaning until later in the day. The whole time the "what if's" are following me around. The biggest one being the dizzyheaded feeling. I then go on the computer and see that I'm not alone in my feelings. I wish there were a way we could all join hands and feel the comfort and understanding of others who suffer from anxiety because no one else (family or friends) seem to know what it is like. The feeling like you are going to pass out is a part of the fear. I try to get involved in a task that takes thinking so that my brain is busy with other thoughts than fear. Hydration helps immensely. Relaxation techniques quiets and calms the mind but it's got to be positive thoughts. Don't let a negative thought take over. Physical activity of any kind that is comfortable for you also helps. We can take all the pills that are on the market for anxiety, we can talk to therapist until we are blue in the face but unless we ourselves come to grips with this disorder, we will just be going in circles. Hang on my friend. It will lessen in time as we retrain our brain from a negative learned behavior to a more positive one. Keep coming here, take heart to the positive lessons you will learn from others. I wish for you a better day than it started off to be. Lastly, look forward to something each and every day. Whether it's a movie you'd like to see, a book you've wanted to read (not medical) or as I do, my chocolate bar after lunch. Treat yourself. It will be your "me" time. Good Luck!

Just wanted to say 'thank you' Agora...really excellent post... We just have to keep 'pushing through' rather than sit around 'observing ourselves' wondering 'how am I going to feel in the next minute'... This forever checking ourselves out makes it worse (speaking from MUCH experience! :) ) My motto "This, too, shall pass"....

Take care, Neon, and know others care.
