It could be a muscle John but I would go to your GP and get it checked out. What makes you think it's your liver?
Hello John
Long time since you have posted so I have everything crossed that the floaters have been behaving Hope I have not spoken to soon
Did you get that appointment or have you been yet to see the specialist over your eyes ?
If you are doing heavy work the chances are you have pulled something and once you have if you continue lifting it will aggravate it and you can get swelling or something that feels like a lump , I doubt very much there will be anything wrong with your liver you would normally get some more symptoms to and don't be Googling what they may be
If it does not settle though see your Doctor as none of us are GP'S on here and they can tell you what is best to do to help it settle down
I hope your little family are keeping well , I imagine your Daughter will be growing fast and I hope you are all looking forward to your 1st Christmas with her , it will be very special
Take Care x

Hello John
Have you been trained and shown how to lift ?.
You tuck your chin in and keep your back straight, then you lift with your legs, this prevents pulling your back out. You always lift by placing your feet 45 degrees close to the item you are lifting you then lift with your arms close to your body, with that tucked in chin and straight back
If there is a lump at the lower part of your spine in the lumber region it would sound like a slipped disk. If that is the case you may need manipulation to push it back in.
It can of course be trapped nerve or tendon sleeve, again you will need to see the GP and get some treatment. Are you getting pain down the side of a leg ? Again see your GP.
You could get some NSIDs that can be purchased at any Supermarket, Asprin is a good medication to take as well, some may take Paracetamol instead of asprin,
You need to visit your GP as soon as you can t make sure there is no disk damage
No not gettin pain down leg mostly hurts to touch bit of a stiff back I constanly find myself touching it
