Shaking when sleeping

Hey everyone. I'm so worried. This has only happened about three times but sometimes at night when I'm sleeping I will feel my body shaking so bad, and I feel my pulse beating really hard. It's almost like I can feel the whole bed shaking it's so weird. Anyone experience this??? Please help.

With anxiety you can feel absolutely anything and what starts as something small escalates because of the way we perceive it. What you have to know is that your body is working perfect, it is doing exactly what it needs to do......in the state you are putting it in.

It's your bodies response to stress, it's just the fact that it's got no reason to be stressed that makes it unusual to feel, as you calm so do the feelings. People say they feel their symptoms all day every day, I used to say the same, but you don't because at some point in the day there will be a point where you had either busy, your mind gets occupied by something else and it goes away, May just be for a moment until you think 'I didn't feel dizzy then/my heart stopped pounding/my legs didn't feel weak.....of course then it comes back because your attention goes back to it.

Those fleeting moments are the real you, those moments also let you know it's not something serious (serious conditions don't come and go with your moods) Those moments will also get longer if you allow them. You can't fool yourself, you can't distract yourself and you can't forget (the more you try to forget it keeps it at the front of your mind). The only way to beat it is to just carry on, don't pay it attention, it will be there, it won't go overnight anymore it came overnight, it's gradual but the less attention you pay, the less worry you add so the less power it has. You might think 'I can't carry on all day with these feelings, I just can't'.....but you already do, everyday you battle through and are still here the next so of course you can

Try it for one day, just let yourself accept the feelings but not pay them attention, I guarantee you will be amazed at how you feel at the end of that day. What have you got to lose? They are there anyway so you may as well give it a try for a day.

It's the hardest thing you will ever do lo my opinion......no, forget that, the second hardest, the hardest is how you get through the day now. You can do it, you all can :)

Ash said it all we all have different symptoms, son ww relate. To some we don't like me with my electric shocks on head, and seeing pictures when I close my eyes, I no longer sit and think OMG whats happening, don't take this wrong way I don't dwell on it I get on as normal and carry out my tasks', as ash said thinking about it will make it worse, I just think hey seen done felt that before I'm still here. Anyone ever needs a bit of support i am only a message away and I'll reply as soon as I can. I have been there, I know how frustrating it can be and I have had every symptom going over the years. I also know loved ones give all the support they can and listen all they can but I also know that speaking to someone who has been there is easier and when it's a stranger you don't feel silly talking about some of the things that you experience....we all need to be there for each other, so anytime is fine

Well, with the exception of Christmas day, my birthday, during an England football or rugby match, during eastenders or fathers day.....other than that feel free :)
