Nightmares Of A Tall Grey Alien/Monster?

So, when I was younger, I used to see this weird grey alien/monster being in my nightmares, it would walk down the passage, open my door and circle around my bed.. I have always been intrigued as to what it might be. Am I alone? I also get this strange sensation when I try to sleep, sometimes.. Especially when I'm completely exhausted.

It feels like something's out to get me? I've even been dragged under the bed. I have no idea what this means. It just feels like all hell is upon me and I can't breathe.

I feel scared, powerless and as if I'm fighting for my life?

There is a thing called "Sleep Paralysis" that can cause you to have weird sensations in your body, not be able to move or speak and see strange visions/hallucinations either as your falling asleep or as your waking up. It used to happen to me years ago and it was terrifying. Not sure if this is the same thing that your experiencing but it sounds like it could be. Try googling it and reading up on it to see if you think its what is going on with yourself.
