Hello

I do believe Beta Blockers help , they do make you calmer as well as you can be prescribed them for anxiety , blood pressure or irregular heartbeats to name a few

My husband takes them not for anxiety but for blood pressure he seems to be fine on them the only thing he has noticed is they have slowed him down a little which is not a bad thing

Have you been prescribed them ?

I suppose we can only but try these meds if they help we can continue with them & if not we can always tell our Doctors & come of them

Hope you get some more replies x

Hi tigger iv got them today will try one in the morning ,thank u for your reply, I get very tired when walking heaven forbid running because of my racing heart, I hate it it's been like that for years, I'm so obsessed with it and I always connect it with anxiety I hate the feeling of it beating fast so I try to avoid anything to get it up like walking for long distances I can't remember a time I walked further than a mile so I'm hoping that these tablets will let me walk without a racing heart, tiredness and anxiety, we shall but see xxx

Hello

My husband gets a what he calls a double heartbeat , it is nothing serious in fact they say top athlete's get this , so he went on them because they do stop it racing & it beats normally now so I would imagine they will steady yours down , I know he said at first they made him tired but he got over that side effect which can sometimes happen but like I said worth trying & if they work it is a bonus and if needs be they do have other medications for this to but fingers crossed & I really hope they work for you , you will have to let us no how you get on :-) x

I left a message saying drugs are bad and my message has been removed! Why has my message been removed?

Hello

I am not sure :-o

Could be one or two things

Maybe as it has happened to me when I have pressed reply I have missed the button & thought I have sent it yet I haven't then the only other thing I can possibly think of is someone reported the comment & it has been removed but I doubt this very much as what you said does not seem to be offensive but if you wanted to be sure then if you look at who the Admins are for this community you can message both of them & ask if they removed it but again usually if Admin were to remove a comment it would normally be their protocol to message you explaining why so I think maybe it could be more that you felt it had sent but it hadn't...either way I would not let it bother you :-) x
