Hi. It's just anxiety. It starts with your thoughts. Try to find what relaxes you the best. It happens to me all the time. It will be ok. Trust me. All my prayers. Brian 😊

I know Kayla. I'm having a bad day today too. It will pass. Like today for me is lightheaded and dizziness. It sucks. Just remember you have been through this before. It will stop. Pray. Relax. Trust. It will melt away. Peace. Brian
Your very welcome Kayla. Message anytime. 😄
Hey Kayla, according my cardiologist it's very very low chance for women especially In such a young age to have a heart attack or other heart diseases we have hormon called estrogen that protects women from developing certain types of heart disease. Prior to menopause, women produce sufficient amounts of estrogen to decrease their risk of having a heart attack to much less than that of a man .
Kaaayla, to relieve your anxiety regarding having a heart attack, see your doctor. Try to find out what is causing your panic attacks, anxiety, and explore ways of eliminating them. A therapist might help. Deep breathing helps too. Prayed for you.
Very unlikely, I started having panic attacks at 18. I had panic attacks for six months straight, heart pounding, thinking something bad was going to happen, everday. And nothing ever happened to my heart. I'm 24 now and I'm still fine.
It's very difficult because once you start to get very anxious every little thing you feel can feel like it's dangerous.
But if you can at all, look from an outside perspective and realise it's your fear and panic that are making you feel these things, and fueling them. Not anything physical.
Something very useful i found was a little thing i read on the internet, which was:
Adrenaline (this is what makes your heart race and makes you feel fearful) takes a short amount of time to flood your system, and 3 minutes to leave. If you can give yourself 3 minutes of calm, just to let the adrenaline leave. Nothing major is going to happen in 3 minutes, and then just see how you feel then. It is likely a lot less afraid, and more calm.
Then maybe you can recognise that it is the fear of something happening to your heart that makes it race, and makes you feel like that, and nothing to do with your heart.
You are very young and will recover and heal quite easily, even eating unhealthy foods. But if that bothers you, maybe look into something healthy eating as well. From my anxiety i have developed an interest in nutrition and i find eating healthier helps me feel better in general too.
Make sure you have enough protein and vegetables, and some wholes grains. Berries are a very healthy fruit and nice in smoothies too.
I would also seek councelling, i really reccomend this if you feel up for it. I didn't for years and my anxiety came back. My health has always been ok, but anxiety can really take up your life and you deserve to have a good one. It's likely you are quite sensitive or don't have someone you can lean on for this kind of thing. And a good councellor can be this person for you and can give you good and alternative perspective to your own.
I wish you the best anyway, i've been there before. And i did smoke and drink and i'm still fine, so hopefully you'll seek help and I hope you feel ok soon!
