Hello world, today at work I had a series of attacks very bad I did the breathing exercise. And they worked. Is it possible to have attacks when on meds? And should I ask for a higher dose? Thanks to all who reply to my misery.

Hi,panic attacks happens because there will be a trigger for enacting that sensation and it can be dealt only by yourself. The medication you`re taking serve as a reinforcement to calm you down because your anxiety level is too high.I think that keeping busy your mind in doing something pleasurable could be a solution, could be a hobby, an interest,an interesting book , a chat with a friend,a walk to the park, join a sport club, anything that can distract you from a negative thought and waiting for the next panic attack. The most important thing is understanding that it cannot harm and when is over nothing happened around your life and you`re still alive, breathing and doing things as before.Try something you really like to do and you can see the difference.Take care
