lol. i'm sorry but how that. you found out the root cause why your having them? for eg inheritance, physical illness etc

What kind of panic attacks? My sister has been getting this strange gripping feeling in her chest every so often related to stress. I get panicked often by random thoughts, compulsions/ideas, or plain fear/:

panic attacks that are triggered by stress and fear and NOT actually inheritance or physical illness etc

I still get milder anxiety attacks occasionally and symptoms related to stress and anxiety (heart skips/palpitations, insomnia etc) now and then, but not the full-blown panic attacks I was having at the beginning of the year.

PTSD started the panic attacks. I went to see a therapist, and once I realised the cause of the panic, I could start dealing with it. I also see a relaxation therapist who has taught me ways of dealing with everyday stress & anxiety. I don't always practice it though, and hence I can get some symptoms again. Also sometimes life throws a lot of stuff at me at once, and then no amount of relaxation practice will help. I also take lots of supplements that have really helped with stress, anxiety & insomnia, namely, magnesium citrate, Vit B complex 50, relora, passionflower & lemon balm. The magnesium with passionflower & lemon balm is great as a pre-bed relaxant & sleep aid.
