Bursts of lightheaded feeling (feels like you got up too quick) but it happens randomly throughout the last 2 days. It wants to give me a panic attack. Im not sure why this is starting, I am thinking it is a progression from a brain tumor that I think I have even though last week I went to the Neuro and ENT about my dizziness and they said it was anxiety and definitley not a brain tumor. So I felt really good honestly for about 5 days and now 2 days yesterday and today I get these bursts of the faint feeling when you get up to quick. I can be laying down looking around, taking a shower, going to eat dinner, and they just occur. I wonder if it is a stroke or a brain tumor or something horrid. My blood pressure is very good now since I quit smoking 3 months ago.

You answered yourself here it' s most likely anxiety because you think you have a brain tumor,
Hey
Are you by any chance not drinking enough liquids then it might b dehydration. This happens to me every once in a while. Another one is sinus problems but u were ruled out if u went to ent.
Jaw clenching is another reason believe it or not
Yaz
I clench my teeth like all the time... I dont know why, but i do. I have this problem too, at the age of 12, so... Clenching my teeth needs to stop!
I've had some family members with that same problem... and one had to have a special rubbery thing made to fit that she had to wear at night that fit over her upper teeth when she went to bed... So did another relative shortly after that because their dentists told them they could seriously injure any kind of work done to their teeth... They are more expensive then the ones you can buy at Walgreens... but drug store DO carry these little things to use at night...
You might just check with your dr about the 'why' of this...sorry I don't have the answer to that... other than 'nerves' and habit... Both these girls had some anxiety problems...
Hi! Strangely I actually experience this "lightheaded-fog" feeling too! I also have inner nervousness like my blood running through my body is making me edgy...I can't relax. Anyway....yesterday I had the "faint" feeling. As doctors call it, vasal-vagal. I was actually sitting in my car on the phone, waiting to go in for a pedicure. I put my bag on my seat and all of a sudden saw sparks! Ya know, like the ones you get if you get up too fast or cough too hard. Lasted For about 5-10 sec. It freaked my out but I talked myself out of it and went in for my pedi. I could not relax for anything and then all of a sudden I felt weird, nervous and faint (I really thought I was going to pass out). How in the world does that happen sitting!!!! Uggggg, I didn't even enjoy my pedi.
Lol im sorry you didnt enjoy your PEDI!
Also I drink alottttttttttt of water during the day. Also since yesterday morning i've been getting slight pain like a throb pain above and behind my right eye. Its wierd because if I pull down on the right side of my nose (i know that sounds wierd) then I will feel that throb pain at the same time... its like behind my eye brow in the corner but not on my skin, its like a head pain. Very odddd.I woke up at like 3 am this morning and had head pain there. Not sure if I did something at the gym yesterday morning or what. I am thinking its related to my faint or lightheadedness and that its something horrrrrrrrrrrific.
And rogerbear, I hope I answered my own question lol. It has to be anxiety, or maybe the barometric pressure? I've heard wierd things about that.
Omg this is me!! I get spurts of feeling lightheaded all the time. Out of nowhere but causes me to be on edge 24/7 on the lookout
Ya, me too. It started sporadically, but now it's happening dozens of times a day. Im a hypocon, so Ive learned to try and wait things out.i recently switched from zoloft to welbutrin and im wondering if this means that my anxiety and hypocon are coming back, because it got a lot worse and more frequent when I switched. Mine is sudden, fleeting lightheadedness/faintness and then gone. I also get sleep paralysis, and today I woke up, paralyzed, and watched a spider the size of a squirrel (not real) crawl up my wall, b4 I was able to start moving. It's kind of scary, but Ive realized that my brain is just kinda fucked up and sometimes I embrace the weirdness. Def drives me to alcohol on the weekends because it's tge only thing that kills the anxiety. Im happy overall though, and I work out very hard to keep my head (somewhat) straight. Cheers!
Yep. I've had all the tests from 1 week heart monitors, angiogram, MRI and MRA of my brain...and nothing bad was found. Regardless, I am sure I am either ready to drop from a stroke, brain tumor, or heart attack. Horrible anxiety. Horrible.
2 ENT docs say these short bursts of lightheadedness or vertigo are either vestibular migraines or deniers disease. I do get horrible tinnitus sometimes.
Scary, cobfusing, and mildly debilitating. Sucks when driving.
If it feels like a wave going through your head then it is definitely anxiety, I get it often, it's awful
R u feeling better
