Dizziness is a common sign of anxiety I have days where I fel woozy ect. I agree tho see your gp nothing to worry about tho. I had labernthitus last year made me feel sick spiny and horrible. It's a ear problem witch goes away but takes ages I had the feeling for a while. X most dizzyness is caused by a virul problem or anxiety

Hi. Yes I agree with the others - go and get checked out by GP to make sure it's not an infection but it does sound like it is linked to your anxiety. I was signed off work 6 weeks ago and have good and bad days. On the bad days (like yesterday) I have the same symptoms plus makes my tinnitus worse and feel unreal. It's all part of the anxiety and will pass.

I has this last year; started in August and took months and months to go. One doctor said it could be an inner ear infection, the other doctor said it was stress.

I'm having the same things it's been nearly 3 months now an each week it's a new symptom! For the past 9 days now I've had dizzyness, foggy head, not a headache as such but pains an pressure all over! Docs just keep saying it's anxiety an not really helping to stop it? I have another docs appointment today so I may mention the ear thing to them? Hope we all make a speedy recovery an beat this anxiety!

Hi,

I had light headed for 45 days or so 24/7, I also was short of breath for 2 1/2 months. My Doctor just put me on Alprazolam XR O.5 twice daily which I started yesterday morning and apparently the light headed is almost completely gone and the short of breath got slightly better yesterday and today even better. I'm keeping my fingers cross on this one. ;-) Now, I'm taking Alprazolam XR 0.5 which does not give you the quick boost the regular one gives you so my Doctor said is not as additive as the regular one. I did take the regular one (0.5) once daily for 45 days and besides a few hours (4-6) it did not do much for me the rest of the day. Now, If for any reason I need to increase this amount then I will ask my Doctor for a replacement, don't want to go deep with this medication. Any recommendation is appreciated. I do have a friend who has been taking this for 17 years and never had to increase so I hope I can follow his steps and his luck. ;-)

It will pass mate. Just don't be ignorant to all the great and reflective advice out there about Anxiety. I was crippled with it untill I read Caire Weekes and Paul David suffering from a combination of all of the above. Got to take new things on board and you will get better.
