Ibs anxiety related

Does anyone suffer from ibs that's anxiety related,seem to wake up in the morning with a really sore stomach and feel sick,it seems to ease after a few hours,just wondering if there's any over the counter meds I can take been to doctors but nothing was recommended x

Ibs is not nice and can be anxiety related.

It's good you've been to the doctors and got yourself checked out.

Go to the chemist and speak to the pharmacist. Tell them that you have seen a doctor, they should be able to help you out with something x

Yes lynn IBS does seem to be anxiety related, I tend to have problems before hospital visits and my adult education classes, one of which ive got in about an hour.

I dont want to sound sactimonious but i used to ger really bad IBS which I;m sure can be anxiety related but calmed down when I started a gluten free diet. It is quite hard work and can be difficult on holiday but there are more products available now. If this is not for you then i would recommend going to a health shop and asking them for some advice.

Hi, I have ibs and health anxiety, there is something called fodmap diet which explains the good and bad things to eat ....this helps to eliminate things that cause ibs
