prozac and weight loss/gain

gps changed my meds now im starting prozac im worried about more weight gain i already take 175ml amitriptyline , 400ml pregablin, and 800ml tramadol and in 3 years ive put on 5 stone , it says weight loss is a side effect ?? anyone lost or gained weight with prozac? hugs xxx

HI Bella x I cannot really say I know much about prozac and its side effects, such as weight gain, but Im sure if you asked your gp they could advice you x I just wanted to say Hi and let you know we have seen your post and if someone else can help with advice Im sure they will xx Donver x

Oh my, I think most of those meds can cause weight gain and I know that Prozac does too!! Honestly it's a right pain, I am exactly the same, I'm overweight and it's so hard to lose it but the meds make it doubly hard, I feel for you cos I know what it's like. If you find how to lose weight on these meds please, please let me know, it'll be like winning the lottery for me!! All the best. X
