Watching ocd on tv, wow these people are .... I don't know what word to use,put it this way, I don't think I suffer half as much as these. And already after 20 minutes I feel so much for them all. Its a hard thing with anxiety. xxx and it proves that the majority is triggered by some past life event x Any thoughts? anyone watching xx

Hi Donver, I don't have OCD, but watched the programme, and cried for ED in the end, I was so pleased for him.

Hi Bonnie x I really felt for these people, but know sorta where they are coming from, with my agoraphobia. The lady who visited her mum made me cry xx Good on them all xx

Hi

I have OCD quite bad , they say its the first thing they need to deal with , when they eventually get to giving me an appointment !

I have taped it , so I can skip bits if it starts upsetting me

If I start relating to much I might delete it & not watch

Will be having a look in a bit

Hi whywhy x I must admit I never really thought about the full extent of a ocd sufferer, but wow. I think from my point of view, it seems to hide a lot of things that are repressed and hidden, feelings and routines etc x Its a hard one and as I say with anxiety to its a long battle x but your a fighter and you will win your battle x:)

There is an anxiety programme on on Wednesday on channel 4 at 9pm looks at CBT Ect might be worth a watch xx

yes I watched all of it,and I was saying to myself, why wont he touch things, whats holding him back, goes to show, how hard it is for other people to understand our anxiety, when we say we cant go into a shop, its so real to us,but to other people its hard to understand,no wonder my OH just tells me of course you can do it,when all I want to do is run home, sad world we live in..xxx

in reply tomiarose

Hi miarose, I can totally relate with them in some ways, as when i try to go out its like a brick wall in the doorway, and its hard. Like you say no one understands fully what goes on inside a persons head. I get sick of being told go on u can do it, but i suppose at some point i have to xx
