You wont look stupid hun
Make the most of this appointment , write down what you want to say & pass it over if you struggle , you need help with this & thats what they are there for , they will have heard it all before , believe me
Good luck & let us no how you go on , dont miss anything out , you will only be annoyed with yourself when you get back if you do
Thinking about you

Never feel stupid. I went to a and e called ambulances ect because I was convinced I had heart trouble. I apoligisdd so much and the paramedics said don't worry out minds play horrible tricks on us. I too an off sick and have been almost 4 months now. It scares me to go back as I have a fab bf who reassures me s the time but he's not at work. Not only that I work in a hospital so hearing symptoms of others makes me think I then have their illnesses too. I have no idea where this come from. But never feel stupid your doctor will understand but be honest and hopefully he can help u xxxx
I have been off sick for a month and tomorrow have a meeting with my manager to discuss certain things as I wrote them a letter. My plan is to return to work next week subject to what they say tomorrow. Like you I'm anxious about it all but I've decided its better to face the music and know I have support behind the scenes as it were, rather than doing nothing and allowing the anxiety to control me. I am unhappy with the way I was previously treated at this job so this meeting tomorrow is crucial. One saying springs to mind: feel the fear and do it anyway. You are right to tell your GP exactly how you feel and no you won't look stupid. If you are too anxious to return to work now, that's not a failure. It could be you need more time. All the best.
