I have one son living with me, another one might need to return on a temporary basis. I always have a house full of grandchildren. I work part time as well as doing all the household chores. I am stressed out, tired out. When do you say enough is enough. Also I am no spring chicken I an 62. Thanks for listening

Family stresses
Hi Millbrook
I have an idea how you feel
I have one son left at home & have to keep looking on my front door , he hasnt put a sign saying B&B because often I look , & there are more here than belong me lol
Its alot what you are doing & at 62 , energy can be lacking
I find as a Mum , we can be taken advantage of , yet it can be difficult to say no
I struggle with that word when it comes to my kids but ....I do say no when I have to , because if we dont , bless them they will walk all over us , just like if I think back if my parents had never said no , I no doubt would have kept taking
So there does come a time when enough is enough
You set the line , where you dont want it to be crossed , for you & your health
They may not like it at first & you may struggle to stand your ground , but eventually they will come round & you will feel better for it
Been a Mum & grandma , doesnt mean we have to be a push over & be taken advantage of
Good luck & let us no how it goes & remember you need time & are at a stage where you have a right to it
Love

Thanks for that unfortunately I have problems saying the word no, I'll have to keep practising. Take care
Same here , thats why they keep doing it , they are not daft they no we do
But with practice , it gets easier , dont let them put you on the guilt trip either
Remember you are important & deserve some time for you

Think I might move out and let them all move in. Only joking
lol that made me laugh , I have often thought that , the times I have said
Thats it I am going , I am moving in a flat on my own
Thing is I have a feeling they would follow me lol

Think I will have to work until I am 70 just to keep kids and grand kids. Thought they were supposed to look after you when you got older. Something gone wrong somewhere
Bless you
Yes you forgot to say "no "
But hopefully you will start to let them no
((((((hugs))))))
Thanks for the advice and support, nice to know there are people with similar problems
I think someone on here , always relates to us & you are not on your own
