Hi Elbo,

I'm finding mornings my best time, but I think I'm recharging over night these days.

Even when I was getting the heavy anxiety, mornings were best, but then I was lucky I could usually get at least 4 hrs sleep a night. I do still have to have a sleep for an hour in the afternoons sometimes.

I would say about your mornings, it maybe your just worn out, after the panics as they do use a lot of energy. Hope you can have a nice cosy up on the settee today and recharge too.

Wishing you well

B

Hi

I hate mornings too. For the last three weeks or so I've been waking up with my heart pounding. The worst is that usually I don't want to get up because I'd rather avoid the day, so I end up lying there for about half an hour or longer torn between wanting to get up to distract myself and not wanting to because I don't want to do anything. If I know I have something nice I can have for breakfast that helps :)

Hi

I find mornings the hardest , I wish i could lie in but my low mood and anxiety makes me have to get up , my stomach starts churning ,i start worrying for no reason :( as soon as i'm up i sit out the back in my garden , i hate being in the house , outside is all that makes me feel better , when i take my son to school i then walk to the gym but i am on tenterhooks waiting for the time to come that we have to leave because i just want to be out of the house a.s.a.p :(

For some reason, mid morning and mid afternoon are my worst, I think that its because it's when I should be at my best (lol) and tbh early mornings I'm still half asleep and evenings I'm looking forward to going to sleep to get away from it (with the help of zopiclone). Food seems to help a bit though if you can stomach it - I've found that if I miss breakfast first thing I'm even worse.

Mornings are definitely worse for me - I went through a period of not wanting to get up, and delaying it. But the longer I delay, I get annoyed that I've not done all the stuff I should be doing, and putting more pressure on myself. I definitely need a reason to get up. I'm glad I feel better towards the afternoon.

Its comforting to know others feel the same, and its mostly mornings too.

It's 0800hr and I'm zinging! Hate it! Mornings are the worse for me - even when I've had a reasonable 6.5 hours undisturbed sleep I still have this adrenalin tingling in the morning. Just wish it would stop...

What do others do to help get rid of it?
