I'm looking for a good hypnotherapist to help me overcome a fear of heights/flying. London area or anywhere, I'll travel for a good one. Any recommendations gratefully received - thanks!

I'm afraid I don't know of any hypnotherapists who can help you with this, but I have another idea of something you could try to overcome your fear.

My best friend works as a Cabin Crew Manager for EasyJet and he has mentioned to me very recently that they're starting up workshops for people with a fear of flying. It's done in two parts - the first part is on the ground in a meeting room and the crew talk you through what to expect from a flight and the sounds and movements the aircraft is likely to make (he said apparently the biggest cause for panic can be the sound of the wheels coming in).

The second part consists of a short, half-hour flight to and from the same airport with the same staff members at the talk you had the previous day. Luckily you're London based because I believe they're only doing this at Luton Airport at the moment, although I may be wrong!

He tells me there are people who are genuinely petrified of flying on the courses but the success rate is high :)

Maybe type it into Google and have a little look? :) As far as I'm aware they welcome you to bring a friend or relative for support throughout the whole experience (of course they do - afterall they want to make money too haha!)

I hope this might be of help to you :)

Love Katy xx
