Do any of you feel worse round about the time of that particular time of the month?
2 months in row now I've had bad heart palpitations maybe 3-4 days before hand and then stops maybe a few days into it.
Maybe it's just coinencedence

Hi ashley in answer to your question yes I do, tbh most of the time aside from my fear of leaving home I seem pretty much normal as in no anxiety and then that dreaded time starts creeping up. The tired feeling, dizziness and sweating the heart palps and then anxeity creeps in larger than ever and makes these minor things so much worse. I do suffer from anemia and this is one of the things my docs are looking into as maybe a anxiety feeder. Donver x
Me too, even though I function relatively well on my meds (Venlafaxine), I still feel more anxious when my period is due, usually around a week before it starts. I start feeling dizzy, tired and out of control, stuff I would usually brush-off becomes a "big deal" for me to obsess over and my craving for alcohol reaches it's peak.
Just read Donver's post, I've noticed more heart palpitations too around the time, maybe heightened consciousness.
oh yes I was terrible used to make my anxiety off the scale .Doctor changed my meds to fluxoteine as its used to treat pmt hormones etc has done wonders for me xx
yes it makes a difference, but I'm not sure for me if it's the hormones or a tendancy towards IBS-C flare ups (due to hormones) that make me extra edgy
x
Well I don't feel so bad now, I have read that it can be because all your hormones are going crazy x
