Does anyone else get more anxious and spaced out feeling during that time of the month.

It's the changes in estrogen closer to your cycle. I'm going thru perimenopause and anxiety is a huge part of it. Evening Primrose oil can help and keep up with exercise and have a good multivitamin. Drink lots of water and eat iron rich foods - preferably animal source as it is much better absorbed. And buy a boxing bag - punch it out!!

Yes! It's very common. In fact I believe that my anxiety is very much cyclical. There are times of the month when I am carefree and anxiety does not get a look in.

I recently had a full blood panel of hormones from the GP to make sure all was okay. They can prescribe bioidentical hormones if things are off...or certain types of the pill could help.

Oh how I wish I had my periods again. My last period was July of 2016 so I guess I'm entering menopause at 53. When I had periods, I didn't have all these scary symptoms . Now that my periods have stopped , my body definitely changing but the scariest of all is the palpitations. 😪
