Coming off Sertraline side affects-starting metazapine

Hi all,has anybody any tips to give me about what to expect coming off Sertraline,also have anyone gone from Sertraline to metazapine. How did it go?

hi lancia, o/h is actually on both of them, mirtazapine at night + sertraline in the morning, has never had to come off them yet, but if its done very slowly I don't suppose there will be any probs, but your doctor should keep you right good luck.xx

Hi Newton, thanks for the reply. My doc is crap keeps telling me to go from 75mg to zero I am now on 50mg & I am really anxious with chest pains, oh joy. Hope you and the o/h are doing ok

Might be a good idea to see another Doc at your practice. Most people worry about upsetting their GP (especially when you're already very stressed like us) but you could 'casually' enquire about when your GP has a day off and request an urgent appointment the day they're not there. Just an idea.......

hi lancia, think agora is right , maybe check in to see a different doc and ask for a review of your tablets, you need to have confidence in your doctor ,please let us know how you get on. love newton.xxx
