I have anxiety attacks in the morning.And chronic stress thru the day

Hi JonW, and welcome to the group 🤟

Right off the bat, I would like to recommend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), from a therapist trained in CBT.

It has helped me overcome my life long anxiety in just 6 months.

I’m hoping that you give it a try and the time for the CBT to help you grow and work towards a calmer, more peaceful and happier life. It has been proven to help with anxiety (and depression) as well as meditation.

JonW,

There are a lot of free groups (like NAMI) and free apps, and books on CBT, if you don’t have insurance. CBT is meant, and designed, to teach you how to be your own therapist. It’s therefore very affordable. As far as the time commitment, I see a therapist by phone appointment and we talk once every two weeks for 45 minutes per session.

You can do the therapy exercises on your own between sessions any time and “on the fly” as the exercises are done as anxiety and depression issues arise.
