my mom has schizoaffective disorder. This past week she has been evicted from her apartment and suffered severe swelling in her face and eyes and doesn’t know what caused it. My siblings and I are trying to find housing for her until the meantime she will be going back and forth between our house s. Unfortunately she hasn’t worked in a very long time so income is low. I have come to the realization that she no longer is able to care for herself and will need much more assistance from now on. Not just financially but with handling funds and setting appointments. We’ve endured this illness for so long and now it’s becoming more debilitating. Please keep my family in prayer.
And if you know of any resources we could use to help support my mom please let me know it would be greatly appreciated

I'm so sorry that is happening to your family. It seems an assisted living facility maybe the best option. You can try calling 211 that's United Way to see what mental health resources there are in your area. Then there's NAMI (national alliance of mental illness) +18009506264 that's their national hotline.
If she hasn't worked in a long time. It might be time to file for disability for her. Because her schizophrenia has gotten debilitating enough where she cannot work anymore.
You might contact your local county health services to see what services/advice they can offer. Also check out your local churches/missions to see what they offer.
