Once upon a time, in a land of endless wars and forgotten dreams, there lived a soldier named Kayohan. He had a childhood filled with sorrow..... no love, no warmth, only shadows of pain. He thought the army would be his escape, a place where he could become someone new. But the battles he fought were not just on the battlefield. Inside him, wounds deeper than any sword could make festered.
One night, tired of everything, he decided to leave. He had no strength left, no dreams to hold on to. As he walked through the dark forest, thinking of where to go next, something unusual happened. A soft golden glow appeared ahead, floating gently like a dream.
And then, he saw her.
A fairy..... no, a queen of fairies. She was unlike anything he had ever seen. Her long black hair streaked with silver shone like the moon, her deer-brown eyes shimmering like emeralds, and her wings sparkled with the colors of the universe. She was wandering, searching for meaning, just like him.
“Why do you look so lost?” she asked, tilting her head curiously.
Kayohan hesitated but then poured out his heart. The pain, the battles, the loneliness. She listened, truly listened, and for the first time in his life, he didn’t feel invisible.
The fairy queen, Anaya, smiled softly. “Pain is heavy, but you are not meant to carry it alone,” she whispered.
Day after day, Anaya showed Kayohan a world beyond war.... a world of magic, of hope, of light. She taught him to see beauty again: the warmth of the sun, the whisper of the wind, the kindness in a stranger’s smile. Slowly, his shattered heart began to heal. And with each moment, he felt something stronger than gratitude.... he felt love.
But fate is never kind to love stories like theirs.
“I have to go,” Anaya finally said one evening. “My journey isn’t over yet.”
Kayohan’s heart sank. “Stay,” he pleaded. “I don’t want to lose you.”
Anaya’s eyes shimmered with sadness. “Some stories end in love,” she said softly, placing a hand on his face, “but some must end with love Kayohan!”
Before she left, she touched his forehead and whispered a spell. A golden light surrounded him, filling his veins with warmth. “I leave you with magic, Kayohan. It will always be inside you. And when you look up at the stars, you’ll know.... I am watching, I am remembering.”
And with a final smile, she disappeared into the night sky.
Kayohan stood there for a long time, feeling the magic within him, feeling her presence in every breath of the wind. And though she was gone, she had left behind something no war could ever take from him.... strength, hope, and the courage to fight for himself.
And so, he walked forward, not for war, not for others, but for the dream that Anaya had awakened in him. And every time the stars showered the sky, he knew she was there, shining just for him.
The End.
With Love,
Ana
