how do y’all deal with panic attacks and mental breakdowns when you are right or flight mode and trying to get out of it?

For me, i circulate between a variety of techniques. Breathing exercises, touching/holding something cold, physical exercise, etc, the most effective one for me is a technique I learned with acceptance and commitment therapy: I write down whatever thought I am having and preface it with "I am having the thought that..", "I realized that..." usually i repeat it in my head as I move into physical exercise and/or breathing exercises

Lately I’ve been using a colouring app on my phone it helps ground me.

as scary as they are you have to remind yourself that your okay your in control and your brain and body just need a break! Breathing exercises are great 4-7-8!!! But you have to do it for 3-5 minutes for it to actually help! Rescue remedy it’s an all natural solution that helps calm you down as well! Therapy also a great option! Even try taking vitamin D gummies when we lack serotonin it makes it hard for the brain to function at its best making stressful times MUCHHH worse. It’s winter so the sun isn’t doing its thing as well but the gummies will give you what you’re lacking!! Feel free to message me if you need anything more help! I’ve been dealing with panic attacks for 4 years so I’m still learning too! :)
