Good evening,

I was wondering if anyone had any favorite books they’d like to recommend. I have a tendency to binge watch TV series or movies to shut down my anxious repetitive thinking but I’m trying to get back into reading.

I joined a local monthly book club to give me something to do in my spare time. Tonight was my first meeting and despite my social anxiety (which I’m trying to overcome), I made a friend. She is an older woman and gave me her card. She’s and actor and singer and she told me to email her as we parted ways. What a cutie! I’m alright at making friends, I just have a hard time developing and maintaining friendships. I guess I have to email her, huh?

While I wait for my next book club book to come in the mail, I was wondering if anyone had any favorites. Maybe I can find it in my local libraries.

Thanks in advance!

P.s. Self-help is welcomed but maybe some kind of sweeping epic tale will be fun and hold my attention.
