I just started my new job at Publix and I first I thought I was really wanting it so bad since I applied 20 something times before I got in. But lately I feel like it is battle of the strongest because I come home crying now like I can’t take it anymore I had it . People accuse me of not wanting to work since I can’t work night la and I have no ride . But I don’t cross boundaries and lay into them for having kids and other circumstances outside work too . So why is everyone attacking me ? I don’t get it and I had enough of it . I don’t know what to do anymore

I was hired at Publix for open to close at 10 pm but I didn’t think everyone would get vicious and fight with each other just because I have certain circumstances at home and I have to leave my shifts at time to handle it. I don’t take shots at those who have kids and stuff I don’t but the fact that everyone thinks it’s ok to show this behavior in any circumstance is just sick and twisted.

Sorry but I understand why they get mad at you for not wanting to do your shift to close. It's not fair for you to have this job if you can't work nights to. Don't blame them I'd be mad at you too. Sorry just being honest.

I get what your saying and there is more people who can’t work nights too due family obligations as well so it is really making me angry to see people fight against that

You must be young because your very selfish. You have a job with set hours you work those hours or you get fired.

I agree. As long as you are sticking to your employee agreement they shouldn't say a word.

Yea and they had on their end I was a military family and I have obligations as well in their files so they know
