Don't remember ever in so much agony with a cold. Probably because I'm older and have arthritis. When I was young there were a lot of people around - older people. I was there to help out. Now I find myself facing poor health and old age basically alone.

Yes. Pain in joints and arms and legs. Freezing under five blankets. Congestion, cough... Hit like a ton of bricks.
Ive been the same , in bed most of the weekend with a cold and a flare up of fibromyalgia , youre right when you’re older it’s so much harder to get over these things, hope you feel better soon.

It could be that RSV or a milder covid strain too....lot's of nasty stuff going around that seems like a cold, but has a bit more kick to it. Feel better soon...lots of liquid, and chicken soup, and Vit. C. with Zinc for your immune system to fight this thing off.
