What is happening to our " FREEDOM " !!!

Everyday there's a new " rule " being bought in, we are in a state of invasion with our privacy being eroded at a rapid rate of knots and its relentless. The UK is one of the most heavily countries in Europe being monitored by cctv, all under the pretence of your

" safety and protection " if its got a camera its a fine or your private details passed over too various agencies and the recent facial recognition cameras placed in public places, football grounds or train stations.

And now the DWP snooping around your bank accounts, the rules only applies to those who can't fight the " system " and everything being spied upon by computers gathering your data, we all know there's certain individuals who should be investigated, but you can't go to the top of the tree to catch those who are protected by the same system that could punish the poorest in society, the world will be running on cameras and harvesting every single detail, a certain Austrian leader had individuals tattooed.

We are losing our identity in the world that we live in, and the various scams and draining your bank accounts by other devious methods will only increase when digital currency is forced upon us, nothing is sacred, and the big brother movements continues behind your backs silently but without a care in the world knowing you've been ensnared by the so called " protecting " cameras, everything you do is no longer private, and it's a loss of your liberty!

I've been wondering the same thing as the country seems to have gotten worse since Keir starmer and his cronies took I e downing street and the government jobs.

They're trying toakenit harder for those of us who has a mental health condition to apply for PIP.

Yes, the erosion of everything around us is happening at an alarming rate, the continuing assault on those who are already struggling is far from over, the constant rise of food or utilities bills are outrageous, yet people are paying more and more and getting less and less, where is the taxpayers money going, the plug in the bath has been left out and the tap is constantly running, the time to stand up against the system rumbles on I envisage more riots, even the councils are pleading the bankruptcy alerts, and yet the councils are renowned for wasting taxpayers money, it's extremely grim, and they'll be more companies collapsing and even more people put on universal coffin ⚰️ (credit) as I call it 😳

I like ur name for UC as it sounds better than it's actual name.

Even me n my fiancé have struggled with being on UC as we used to get it every month, but now we get it every two weeks and we have coped a bit better with that way.

The thing that annoys me and my fiancé is that the councils have scrapped the couples element of the council tax support, so now we're struggling to pay that on top of everything else.

Even my mum struggles and she works 4 nights in work and 4 nights off and she's a security officer for a company that delivers chemicals around the world.

My mum does 12 hour night shifts, which are 7pm to 7am.

The system is designed to make you work harder, earn anything over your working hours they deduct 55p in the pound on universal coffin, you don't reap the" reward " the only thing that's coming for you is the grim reaper, and they say work pays, the greed since covid has given companies free reign and have used the pandemic to empty your pockets at the same time , they say no more austerity 🤥 it's going to be all out war on the most vulnerable in society, how on earth has this country got more food banks than McDonald's is absolutely disgusting in this day and age and even warm banks, I can't believe supermarkets putting security tags on food , wait until the digital currency is introduced it's going to cause havoc, there's trouble ahead, and people need to wise up, the tide against individuals is rising rapidly and many people will sink.

Labour have just inherited 14 years of disastrous tory government. They are the ones who hit the sick and disabled the most. Its no coincidence that homelessness, poverty and destitution have increased a lot under their time in office.

The tories achieved record immigration, record NHS waiting lists and war time debt levels again. Labour inherited 14 years of huge cuts to all our public services which are failing. The have frozen the tax thresholds for years even the lowest ones which have dragged me a pensioner with a small private pension back into the income tax net again 2 years ago and I am now paying tax at more than twice the amount of the Winter Fuel Allowance.

Labour will sort it but there is no money which is why they have to take these measures to try and balance the books. Unless you prefer uncontrolled government borrowing as previously with most of it going to the rich who take most of the wealth of the country.

Its going to take Labour a lot longer than just over 3 months to even begin to sort it all out.

Oh and historically the gap between the have and have nots always widens under a tory government and lessens again under a Labour one. Its at its highest ever level now for many years.

The trouble is far too many people seem unable to see beyond the headlines and just blindly accept what they are told by the huge amount of tory rags - Express/Mail/Sun/Telegraph etc. Who make up endless lies and misrepresenting everything to suit their own agenda.

I read both sides then make up my mind.

I fear Labour will continue to swing the axe and will carry on with the numerous cuts, I'm not voting anymore, the greed and arrogance shown by ALL politicians is disgraceful, I lent Labour my vote as I couldn't see any other option, Labour won the election by default as people were fed up of the lies and corruption hidden deep rooted within the tories, we are paying more and more and nothing yo show for it except townhalls saying they've got no money, they are raking in huge amounts and wasting it on ltn, cycle lanes and a few planters holding weeds, but they all managed to keep a gold plated pension though .

No disagreeing with you but just point out this is as a result of 14 years of tory rule. Labour have only been in office for just over 3 months. They haven't caused this mess but are having to deal with it.

The tories have left us bankrupt and if we want to balance the books Labour have no choice but to look at any area of savings.

They are hitting mainly the better off though rather than just targeting the poorest like the tories did.

The trouble is the very rich are unreachable as they pay large sums of money to protect their money. So all Labour can do is go after the rest of us instead.

I still prefer this though to only hitting the poorest while pretending we are all better off as that's gross hypocricy but does seem to fool many of the electorate.

Oh and I will point out that its only a very few who have 'gold plated pensions'. The vast majority of civil servants are just frontline staff with pensions no better than the private sector.

But the right wing rags love to pretend its the majority and so many never question this.

One of the main reasons I vote Labour is because I believe in trade unions. I always tell those who don't to read up on what life was like for the working classes before them. Working 70 hours a week for a pittance and dying young. I believe the workers should get a greater share of the country's wealth and the rich get less.

The other main reason is because it was Labour who introduced the NHS in the first place against fierce opposition from the tories. I know the free at the point of use principle is safe in their hands. I believe tories would love to privatise it and as Thatcher said she wants to do stealthly. This has been happening to some degree over the last few years too.

Yes i see your point, but the unions have been letting us down, I went to a rally a few years ago where mick lynch had the right ideas, he wants a distribution of wealth, and have a better piece of the " cake " the wanton waste in various agencies is absolutely shocking and you just need to look at the ferry fiasco at the Clyde shipyards, and of course the biggest scam going was the ppe equipment " contracts " the tories filled their satchels well and truly 😉

the US is in trouble also. Everything is going up except the wages. Health care and pharmaceuticals are a nightmare. We’re a couple weeks from electing a new president. Both sides are promising the moon, but we all know nothing will change.

I see your point exactly CB. This world is becoming more digitalized daily. No thank you I would like to live in a world where like it used to be nothing listened to us and what we were saying or watched us daily. I know in some instances cameras are a good thing to catch crime but other than that you're right it's an invasion of our privacy and taking away our liberties. The world of The Jetsons is coming to light day by day and as my mom used to say I hope I'm pushing up the Daisies by then. I want to drive my own car not have a self-driving car for just an example of what's happening right before our eyes before we know it machines will take over everything and do the jobs for us leaving Millions to do what...starve.....

I loath the world we inhabit now, and non more so than the UK, there is no privacy , no joy in life, and i think the internet has ruined many lives, I have had enough of the digital age. I enjoy nothing, I creep through life like a heavy burden on my shoulder.

The increasing ack of piracy is appalling. I do agree with you. At least in the US there are not quite as many cameras, although there are still a lot.
