I have been on 100mg of sertraline for 9 years just had a blip 6 months ago and still struggling like crazy in the morning the minute I wake up I am climbing the walls with anxiety, I upped my meds to 125mg but not helping I also tried 150mg not helped I wonder if sertraline is not working for me after being on it for 9 years Has anybody got any experience of this. I must add I do try to work rou d it but find it so difficult by evening my anxiety seems to reduce.

I have used Sertraline before. I gave up on it at the maximum dose 200mg because it made my anxiety and insomnia worse. My doctor and I then looked at a few other options and decided mirtazapine would be the best for me, especially if taken at night for sleep 😴

The technical term for meds no longer working is "poop out".

Don't hesitate to contact your doctor if you are not feeling the best over a period of time.

A medication πŸ’Š review might mean booking a longer appointment.

There are now over 20 tablets in the doctor's medicine chest so there might be one that's right for you πŸ˜‰ πŸˆβ€β¬›
