I was wondering if this type of intensive therapy, 3 days a week with 3 hours per session, for 6 weeks in order to change your thought patterns and actively complete exercises and tasks in real life scenarios in order to overcome and help people suffering from chronic daily anxiety that currently affects almost every aspect of their current lives. I'm curious if anyone has completed this and if they experienced any long term and lasting significant improvements?

Has anyone completed intensive CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) for anxiety?
I was in a very bad place and went to an inpatient treatment for a few weeks. I got back on my feet and working again... I still have a lot of issues but I learned a lot. I am all for anything if you have resources and are ready to put the work in. ☮️
I think it would definitely help. Certainly cannot hurt and you must do everything you can to help yourself. You’re important! Go for it!
I am currently in an 8 week, 2hours per week group CBT for depression. Its helpful, I find being in a group helpful. I think anything in the way of therapy can be helpful. If you can afford the time I would try it, nothing to lose and if you dont like it part way through you can always leave.
I haven't been through that intensive of a program but have done CBT therapy which I did find helpful but one of the biggest things that helped my anxiety was learning that anxiety is a paradox so the more you fight, resist or try to deny it the more it persists so the solution is to learn how best to deal with it. i suggest the DARE Anxiety book and youtube videos for how to constructively deal with it, it helped me. Another thing is to make sure your testosterone, thyroid and adrenals are functioning properly, they can cause or contribute to anxiety if not.
