Hi Jane76s, I'm so happy to Welcome you to our community of caring and supportive

people. You have made a first step forward in getting the help you need. I too was

overwhelmed with Anxiety that went into Agoraphobia so I know what you are going

through. Read some of the posts and responses and you will soon see that you are

not alone. We will help you get to where you want to be in life. My best :) xx

I went cold turkey a few years back for a month.

I was shocked how much better my mental clarity was after even just a couple of weeks. My body and mind just felt so alive for the first time in really years. My athletic performance sky-rocketed, Insomnia went away. I lost weight, stopped with the junk food that always comes with me drinking.

But then it crept back - "wow what a nice bottle of wine, I mean, how can I refuse just ONE glass..." But quickly, I'd find that becoming 2, 3, a bottle and I'm still honestly really struggling.

Easier to say than do of course.

If not that, then what other positive steps - even just very small ones - could you make starting today or tomorrow, which will nudge your life situation back?

For me, one day a couple weeks ago I washed the giant pile of dirty dishes. Another day I cleaned the toilet, swept the floor, even washed my bedsheets. 🥳

It feels like progress. It's baby steps! 😀

Hi Jane, I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. This is a great community for support. I'm not great at this, but I'm really trying to not obsess about mistakes I've made in the past and just look forward. I'm hoping you can reconnect with your children. For me, tapping meditations really help - I just do the free ones at this site: thetappingsolution.com/ They also have an app.

Hi Jane 76. If you need to vent talk anything I'm here. I started off with box breathing. Deep breaths then hold for three seconds. It is a moment of relief. But now therapy and meds. I just started about 3 weeks in now. Nice to meet you. We are a great group family here.
