I have diagnosed anxiety and depression. I started to see a psychologist December 2023, every other week.
Before consulting, I felt anxiety and depression. When one was low, the other was up.
I asked my family doctor about feeling like crap and he said that because I was working through stuff with my psy that it was normal to feel that way.
At the moment, I am inside trying to get stuff done. All the normal anxiety is there. The depression is less present unless I think about loss and other painful memories.
But I really feel like crap. I have no other way to describe it.
So, I am here wondering if anyone else feels this way. And if it really is a step to healing.
