Hi Sunsetflower19! Thank you for the reminder to challenge our negative thought. They sure do try to run the show, don’t they?

Yes! As someone who’s prone to ruminating this is a challenge for me.

I was listening to a meditation last night that suggested watching thoughts disappear on a cloud. It was a comforting reminder that they are only thoughts and can’t hurt us.

Mindfulness and meditation are very helpful. I will use that imagery next time. Thanks for sharing, 🤍

It's hard to control your taughts but doable. The best option is to keep your mind engaged with something meaningful if your body allows you.

Yes, I tend to worry a lot and struggle with anxiety so keeping my mind engaged is important.

This is all so very true. The one I really hit me was “what advice would you give a friend”. Thank you for posting.

Sunsetlover19, we must absolutely challenge our negative thoughts before it has

started to grow. I ask myself this question, Does worrying, crying and fearing the

unknown, help my situation?? NO?? Then I kick it to the curb and go on with my

life. I cannot control the unknown but by keeping a positive perspective of the situation,

I can be ready for anything that may come along eventually. Great Post :) xx
