I just wanted to share something with you all. I have a lot of anxiety as many of you can understand. I went to one of my nieces Graduation from college last week. It was in a large stadium with large screens so you could see it well. Anyway, a lot of people were walking up and down the stairs over and over again. I also had my hearing aides on higher to be able to hear the speakers. As the day went on my anxiety kept getting worse and I was breathing and trying to get myself distracted, but it was hard. I was definitely getting overwhelmed, but didn't want to ruin the day. I spoke up to one of my sisters who was sitting beside me. This was daring for me to speak up, so I was proud of myself. Anyway, we were sitting close to a set of stairs and I was facing the screen to the right. My sister suggested I look to the left where not many people were walking on the stairs and even if they were it wouldn't have been so close. I can't believe how much better I felt. I wouldn't have done something that simple on my own. Sometimes I think we who have gone through so much analysis complicated our own lives. lol The rest of the day went well. I just thought I'd put that out there because it might help someone else either chance reaching out, or just maybe we'll thing of the simplest solution. Have a great weekend!
