Paxil for anxiety

Has anyone had any success with Paxil for treating anxiety? It's the latest my doctor has had me try. Only been on it for a few days, but when I Googled this I found such mixed responses as to how long it takes to work. Some people felt it worked rather quickly, but I also read it could take months.

Hi CKC2023,

While we are curious about new media, I think your own body is the best guide to how well the medication 💊 will work.

Our chemistry is so different between people.

I feel it is best to be guided by the maker's information and your doctor's experience of prescribing it.

I hope Paxil works for you.

CKC, blackcat speaks the truth in that everyone's chemistry is different.

Usually it's between 4-6 weeks average to feel the effects of it working.

Keep in touch with your doctor and know that if the dosage has been upped

during that time, it could take a few days longer. Remember this is not a benzo

and so it will work slower but more efficiently in the long run. Good Luck dear :) xx
