Paxil
Hi Speedyblue,Paxil takes some time to work. I believe it is about 4-6 weeks until you start feeling a change. It is slowly working in the mean time so don't give up.
Talking to a therapist can help in the mean time Or Practicing mindfulness and CBT methods.
Be well.
Thank you 😊
Hi. Maybe Paxil is not working for you. Have you talked to your doctor about medication that is a little stronger? Also please google paxil to educate yourself about it and to see what else is available so you can ask your doctor about other medication s that are available. There are a lot of SSRI medicine that is available. Be patient and compassionate with yourself. I've been trying to redefine my interest s and self. Taking pictures of cats in the neighborhood. Every few days I read. I have chronic pain depression and anxiety so I've been listening to psych 2go and also Dr. Fox and youtube videos. Maybe it will help you.
That’s a lot of good advice. I very much appreciate it. Thank you 🙏🏼
I am here and i think we are here to help each other . Take care
It takes 4-6 weeks. Paxil really helped me and I hope it eventually helps you too. Give it a try. If it doesn’t end up working you can try something else. Best to you Speedyblue.
Hi, I was on this for a number of years. This was a fantastic medication for me and I was anxiety free for years. I felt a difference in the first few weeks. I recently changed medication as I had been on Paroxetine for years and it wasn’t really helping in the end. I hope you start to see a difference soon.
Thank you 😊
Hello
It depends on individuals but it takes for a while to SSRIs to kick in. Pharmacists tend to say 8 weeks or so or a bit longer. You may be experiencing initial reactions from Paxil but those reactions will be gone gradually. Please give it a try .
For me, it took quite a long time to feel a bit of positive effects.
I truly hope Paxil is the right med to help you. Hugs
You are so kind. Thank you for sharing. It gives me hope 🙏🏼
