Checking in after 3 years

I've been MIA on here- I got busy with life, my husband and I got our own home and I started a new job. Things started to look up and I crawled out of a long deep depression. I've been feeling good the last few years. I remember last I was on here I was struggling with anxiety and having a hard time with balancing my mental health while planning my wedding. Joke was on me- covid canceled it! I was given the time to sort things out and we finally married July 2021. Now I'm 38 weeks pregnant with a girl. It's always so wild to me how over time life puts us back where we need to be. In the middle of depression it's so hard to see how things will get better and feel any hope.

I have no idea who is still on here that I may have chatted with years ago. But this is my update-

wishing anyone who sees this a peaceful day.

Hi There:

Must admit that I don’t know you from Adam (or Eve for that matter). Nevertheless, it is nice of you to pop back and try and hook up with old online friends. Having said that, it is probably even more important to inform folks like me, who might have come later to the party, but who are still dealing with the crazy shxt on a day to day base. Put in another way, just knowing that there are people who manage to get their lives back together is a comfort.

I appreciate the reply. Depression is awful.. But the possibility of getting better is always there. Life tends to get in the way.. it's not easy. I wish you the best.

That is so exciting! In June it will be 4 years for us.. it goes by fast! We're renting a 2 bedroom condo- it's not much but it makes us happy. 🙂 Having my own place to call home was a big help in healing from depression.
