I am suffering with very bad Tinnitus which has made me very anxious. This makes the Tinnitus worse so Dr put me on Mirazapine last week and I feel really dizzy. I need some reassurance that it will get better and I can get my life back

Swimalot1, since it seems like you may swim some, I would like to ask: how are your ears? The one time I ended up in psychiatric care was largely brought on by Tinnitus coupled with an inability to get care from a specialist. My ringing ear was absolutely brutal - sorry you are experiencing that. Yes, the vast majority of patients will see tremendous improvements with proper treatment and passage of time. Have you been in to see an ENT doctor? My ENT doctor highly recommended that I use mineral oil to help prevent wax that can cause be a cause of earaches, headaches, and Tinnitus. For me, my ear problems were brought on by among other things stress, and the most effective medication actually proved to be ab oral course of the steroid Prednisone to help relax muscles. Hoping again that you are able to access good medical care and start feeling better soon.

15mg. My anxiety makes the tinnitus worse. It's a waiting game for the benefits to kick in.

Thank you. Have a big appt with an Audiologist but they keep putting it back. Good old NHS
